Ocean’s 8 is a fun movie. Predictably it’s a heist movie. Its got some nice performances from Hollywod stars Anne Hathaway and Sandra Bullock. It’s fast paced, slick and predictably comical. An all female cast made the Women actors feel quite safe on set. I guess it’s the ‘#metoo’ movement in 5th gear.
Definitely a good movie to watch. The plot is not too thick but does keep you guessing. Just don’t expect too much and you won’t be let down. In my opinion it was better than the all-female remake of Ghostbusters, but then again, Ghostbusters was truly a classic movie.
This movie is a remake of a remake when you think about it. My favourites Oceans movie of course was the one starring Frank Sinatra and the boys Sammy Davis Jr etc etc. I’d give it a solid thumbs up, but you be the judge.
